Carol Fennell - Artist LLC

Schneider Fennell began her art career studying ceramic sculpture as an undergraduate at the University of Southern Indiana.  Here she first explored her use of bright underglazes and colors to achieve a unique "whimsical" feel and created three dimensional relief objects and wall pieces.

After graduation, a job with Columbia pictures as a scenic artist for the motion picture “ A League of Their Own”, inspired Carol to study painting.  She went on to earn her MFA in painting at Northern Illinois University, where she studied under abstract artists and created large sculpted paintings.

Her work has been displayed in numerous juried exhibitions and invitational shows throughout the Country.  Her current work (2005-2007) has been installed in several hospitals and public spaces (Lafayette Exempla Hospital, Wheatridge Recreation Center, Montrose Hospital, Kaiser Permanente Highlands Ranch and Aurora, several business and other locations). Her work continues to achieve recognition, for example best of sculpture at the Evergreen Fine Arts Festival and Best of Show at the Gilpin County Art Center.
